The summer so far: Sunderland

Tasked with the goal of supplying opinions towards your club during the preseason period is always a tricky one as the months of June and July are usually hit and miss due to the nature of the schedule that looms over the club during this time. The abrupt happenings of the transfer market coupled with the ethics of ‘the friendly fixture calendar’ guarantee that the fans can never be truly comfortable in their wait for the season ahead. The true fan can never relax when it comes to the club they love and it has been like that here on Wearside during what has so far been a very hot and cold pre-season.
