		<description><![CDATA[Thank you, Rob. This is one of the best articles I have read about my Dad in the last few years. You brought alive his phenomenal skills with your words. Yes, it is time we remember him - DIDI - without whom Brazil would not have qualified for the 1958 World Cup in Sweden and from where its path to soccer glory began and remains to this day. DIDI was instrumental in getting Brazil&#039;s soccer industry started.

The first time anyone really took notice of him as a footballer was when he was still a young boy and managed to score an incredible 23 goals in a match that his local side won, well, 23-0.
